Scottish Comedian of the Year 2008, Glasgow Heat 2

Quick update.

Was at the second Glasgow heat of SCOTY 2008 last night at The Ivory. Enjoyed it. The running list was as follows:

• Michael Adams
• Rab Brown
• Mark Davies
• Break
• Davey See
• Rowan Campbell
• Gordon Alexander

Thought the guys all did well – I’ve seen them all before except Rowan Campbell. Rab Brown won – his material worked really well in the small room though I thought the musical interlude went on too long.

Special mention goes to Davey See as I think he was excellent on the night – only 14 gigs in and a very polished performance.

Enough for just now. I am on my way to Absolute Beginners tonight to perform and I want to go over material etc before I go.
